I rewatched this movie recently and realised that… it’s… really misogynist? And has a lot of transphobic/gender-based humour? Like ha ha ha it’s so funny that that man is dressed like a woman how inappropriate. Or ha ha that woman is scary and unattractive how unacceptable/villainous. And it really sucks because I LOVED this movie as a teenager and I hate it when things that I love turn out to be fucked up on later examination because it’s really disappointing but also because

the joke is that there is a llama in a poncho and a wig trying to pass as a human to get into a restaurant and no one seems to notice. and did you miss the several occasions throughout the movie yzma tried to kill kuzco in order to take his throne. that is why is she is the villain. she looks that way to make it more obvious that she is the villain. it is a children’s movie.
